Patch Day!

Yes it's patch day, or should I say Nerf day! So many Nerfs of so many classes. As usual the Priests received our required Nerf, this time against Shadow Priests. We did get a few positive changes. The biggest is of course the reduction of Binding Heal's mana cost, and making some of the healing talents effect it. Binding Heal is now cheaper than 2 flash heals which should get it more use. I always thought it was useful before but you had to be careful with it because of the mana costs. Now you can use it more liberally.

There was the usual Patch Day havoc in case you missed it. Shortly after people started getting on the servers it was being reported people were loosing items when hearthing. There was a hotfix applied and the servers had to be restarted. Well after the restarts many of the servers didn't come back. Thankfully Deathwing was not one of them! Sorry to all the folks who didn't get to play till they got those servers back up.

I started off with the Orphan Week quests. Isn't she cute! She takes you all over the place and at times she seemed rather difficult to please :p The most awesome part is the quests gave pretty good gold, the standard 7g 50s and some change. I think by the time I finished doing just these quests I made over 45 gold.

The quest reward is still a pet but this time there were some new pets. The elephant is of course the most cute out of the three. The other two consist of an eye, and an ugly bird :p

Then Inian and I went over to do the Netherwing quests. They are quite long, and there was lots of competition. Its kinda neat when you fly over there it puts a disguise that makes you look like an orc, this is me in the picture above. Even cooler it makes your mount effectively a netherdrake so I got to experience 280% flight! It was awesome, can't wait. The quests are so long though its quite evil. I didn't even manage to complete one before I left.
